My girlfriend Emma and I are building a new house together. The house plan is called Buckingham, so I am calling this page "The Building of The Palace" as in Buckingham palace. The image at the top of the page is a rendering of the house we are building. Look here to see a show home of the house plan we are building.
Floor plans of the main level and upper level:
Changes we have made to the plans on the main floor are to push the back wall of the great room out 2 additional feet. Then at the front of the house we have changed the front entrance coat closet, and the mud room closet to be one pass through closet, which makes the front entrance larger. We also widened the garage to 22 feet wide to provide additional storage room along the side walls.
Feb 22/2002: I am starting a little pictorial of the building process. This starts off with a shot I took of the lot we purchased. Next I have this image of the bay the lot is on. Lot 26 which is coloured yellow is ours.
