No overtime tonight. Nice change being home on a Wednesday night. I used the time to put a full 2 hours of studying in.

Happy birthday Emma. I gave her a wireless heart rate monitor to use with her workouts as the monitor on the crosstrainer does not work well at all.
It's a clear cold morning. Five degree celsius and can see the mountain ranges inland from us as I eat my breakfast. It rare to see the inland ranges and when a house get build on the section across the street we will lose the view most likely.

At the client site once a month they do awards to recognize peoples work and the funny side of life which they call the turkey award. This months turkey award went to a manager who measured for storage shelves in inches and wrote down the measurements in centimeters. The storage shelves that were originally delivered where more like a wine rack than storage for computer gear.

Emma's work had a team in the relay for life which is a 24 walk to raise funds for cancer. We were both rather tired at the end of the day after doing a lot of walking.

We went back to New Plymouth for the last few hours of the relay for life and did a lot more walking. Then went shopping which is more walking. We don't want to be on our feet any more after the past two days.
I found a web site that lists a number of dirt bike rides in Southern Taranaki. A number if rides coming up close to home that interest me.
