I tried to clean up the old baseboards but it just could not clean them up well enough. A second shopping trip to look for replacement baseboards located pre primed MDF baseboards an 1/8th of and inch taller than the original base boards. We painted them up and by using the original baseboards as templates was able to get a good start on putting things back together.
Friday night I was able to finish moving the last of the user mailboxes the staging Exchange server. Next I have to work out how to configure the fax connector for email delivery of received faxes then I can shutdown the old exchange server and start building the new production server.

I shutdown the old production Exchange server leaving the staging mail server to handle things and started to prep the new production mail server when we ran into isues and were not able to fall back to the old production server. So i spent the day building a new Exchange 2003 mail server and by the end of business things were back to normal.
