At work today the firm gave all staff a portable DVD player for Christmas. Rather generious of them.

I got back to work on my scripting project. I got my user account info script working in a hta file. I am not happy with the way I had to run two scripts together to get the job done. Down the road I am going to try a re-write the process into a single script.

Using up my last vacation day today making a nice 5 day long weekend. Been a rather easy day. We picked up a bunch of rental movies last night so we don't have to go through repeat TV program and Christmas movie hell for the next few days. I also did some web site work. Still working on learning CSS. The basics are easy but some of the things I want to do are beyond basic, I have have play with things alot of find the best method of doing some of the layouts. I could do it all in a table and be done, but I want try and work things out using CSS.

Off shopping this morning to have one eye test redone, and ordered some new glasses. Of the movies we rented, we have now watched 3. The Island was good, The Fantastic Four I would rate as a rental only, and the March of the Penguins was pretty cool (no pun intended).
I did some more web site work today. I found a syntax error that was causing me one major issue with getting things to line up nicely. With that fixed things have started to come together a step closer to the look I am aiming for.

Christmas Eve. The weather continues to be warm and we have been enjoying afternoon walks with the dogs.

Merry Christmas. The warm weather is still with us, and warm enough that we have opened a few windows to air out the house. Emma gave me a nice pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones. It's amazing how they cancel envirionmental noise like a house hold fan out.
