I spend up to 1 1/2 hours on the bus each day doing nothing. So today I tried something to be productive. I printed out some documentation from Novells Netware 5 site and tried reading it while riding the bus home. Tried is the word for it cause as the bus filled up it got hot and stuffy which put me in nap mode after only getting about 20 pages read. I'll try again during the morning bus ride, but I will try to get a seat near the door so I will get some fresh air at every stop to help keep me awake if the bus gets hot and stuffy again.

I have my mortgage setup in Quicken, and after looking at the payment schedule, I realized that something did not look quite right. The principal owing looked too small. I setup a dummy account and setup my mortgage in it, along with payments for the past 18 months. Then I saw the error I had been making, the payments I had been entering into my account had the split done wrong, thus I was not applying enough to interest and too much to principal. I deleted all my mortgage payment transactions, and instead of doing them manually I used the payment feature which calculated, and applied the correct amounts of principal and interest.

Well the doctor says there's nothing more to my illness than what the emergency room doc told me in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. Some solace that is as I still feel like Mike Tyson has been using me as a punching bag. I must admit to being like many people and expect the doctor to wave a magic wand over my tired sore body and make me well again. But then having more than a little experience with computers and Microsoft products, I know there are no magic potions to fix ailing bodies, computers or software.

More later when my energy level quits dipping down into the comatose range, and I can then string more than a few sentences together.
