Welcome to the official web site for the Silicon Patch. The Silicon Patch is my computer lab where I test a variety of operating systems, software, and when the bank account allows I like to experiment with new hardware.
The main purpose of this site is to maintain a Journal where I write a mostly daily account of the work I do in the Silicon Patch. The information in the Journal covers everything from my findings while using various Web Site creation tools while maintaining this site, to the work I do on my home Local Area Network.
The format and layout of this site is subject to change as I decide to try new things with web design, or if the scope of my work on my home LAN dictates changes in this site.
